Here at The Leadership Factory we pride ourselves on helping our community and giving something back. As a strong local company, we feel it is our duty to help drive change and ensure that we can all benefit from working together. We're committed to being responsible in the way we operate, being the best corporate citizens we can be, and always working with integrity.
We have a history of working with local organisations, and have recently launched Just Giving, a leadership training programme for third sector organisations in the Stirling and Clackmannanshire area.
The Giving Forward programme launched in Summer 2018 and gives local charitable organisations the opportunity to attend a free 3-month programme of leadership training. The programme covers a range of topics, and participants also have tailored 1-to-1 coaching to allowing them to develop their leadership skills. Participants come from a range of third sector organisations and we are delighted to be working with them to provide them with the skills to develop as leaders, allowing their organisations to thrive and further benefit the wider local community.
The Leadership Factory was delighted to work with this incredible organisation based in Renfrewshire, to design and deliver a leadership programme for their senior team of 11 women. St Vincent's Hospice, who care for local people affected by life limiting illnesses, depends on the generosity of the community to provide care for all. Their services have included the Butterfly Project, an innovative way to supporting children with bereavement. Our programme was intended to increase commercial and leadership awareness and included workshops, 1-to-1 coaching, business mentoring, and a personal project. Our team of 15 consultants contributed their time for free; the value of such a programme would have been over £60,000.
"Thanks to Vicky and The Leadership Factory, St Vincent's Hospice have made great strides in building a leadership team fit for the future of palliative care. Their bespoke programme has helped individuals develop and opened team minds to a world of new opportunities."
- Elaine Rae, Family Support Service Manager
We are pleased and proud to be in partnership with Start Up Stirling, a valuable charity which supports individuals and families in the Stirlingshire area who are experiencing homelessness, housing difficulties and financial hardship. We have provided them with advice on strategy, and are delighted to match the money they raise in their Christmas fundraising each year.
An important part of our corporate social responsibility is to ensure we do all that we can to minimise our carbon footprint. The Leadership Factory has a commitment to caring for our environment and being aware of climate change.
