We've chosen to support charities who share our values and to whom our help will have the greatest impact possible.

Here at The Leadership Factory we pride ourselves on helping our community and giving something back. As a strong local company, we feel it is our duty to help drive change and ensure that we can all benefit from working together. We're committed to being responsible in the way we operate, being the best corporate citizens we can be, and always working with integrity.

Close to home, we are pleased and proud to be in partnership with Start Up Stirling, a valuable charity which supports individuals and families in the Stirlingshire area who are experiencing homelessness, housing difficulties and financial hardship. Not only do they provide food and essentials for people who may be struggling, Start Up Stirling also have a team of volunteers who are there to listen and befriend those feeling isolated and alone. The work of this charity, while unfortunate, is essential. For people on low incomes, a sudden crisis, failing or delay in receiving benefits, redundancy or an unexpected bill may mean going hungry. Every day parents skip meals to feed their children and some are forced to choose between paying the rent and bills or eating. Start Up Stirling supports around 160 people a week, with children accounting for 30% of that number.

Our second charity is an intimate hospice in Renfrewshire, St Vincent's Hospice, who care for local people affected by life limiting illnesses. Like many hospices, St Vincent’s depends on the generosity of the community to provide care for all. Their services have included the Butterfly Project, an innovative way to supporting children with bereavement. Our work with the hospice has been to design and deliver a leadership programme for their senior team of 11 women.  This programme is intended to increase commercial and leadership awareness and includes workshops, 1-to-1 coaching, business mentoring, and a personal project.  Our team of 15 consultants are all contributing their time for free; the value of such a programme would normally be over £60,000.

An important part of our corporate social responsibility is to ensure we do all that we can to minimise our carbon footprint. The Leadership Factory has a commitment to caring for our environment and being aware of climate change.
